Varee Chiangmai School joined Peace Day Assembly 300 schools cross-country

The International Day of Peace, marked on 21 September each year by UNECOSOC, offering an opportunity for the world to pause, reflect and consider how best to break the vicious cycle of violence that conflict creates. In order to strengthen the idea of peace, The Universal Peace Federation (Thailand) and urged for cooperation from 300 schools cross-country to run the peace day activities.
After morning assembly, Mattayom students’ representative read message from Ms. Yingluck Shinawatra, Prime Minister of Thailand. Then, International Programme students’ representative read message from UN Secretary-General following by observing one minute silence for peace, moral values and hope for international peace.
