Qualification

Kindergarten Level

  • Pre-Kindergarten Applicant must be 2 years old by 16, May 2024
  • Kindergarten 1 Applicant must be 3 years old by 16, May 2024
  • Kindergarten 2 Applicant must be 4 years old by 16, May 2024
  • Kindergarten 3 Applicant must be 5 years old by 16, May 2024

Primary Level

  • Primary 1 Applicant must be 6 years old by 16, May 2024 or studying in Kindergarten 3
  • Primary 2 - 6 Applicant must be studying in or graduate from the level prior to the one he/ she is applying for.

Secondary

  • Secondary 1 Applicant must be studying in Primary 6 in Academic year 2023
  • Secondary 2 - 3 Applicant must be studying in or graduate from the level prior to the one he/ she is applying for.
  • Secondary 4 Applicant must be studying in Secondary 3 in Academic year 2023
  • Secondary 5 - 6 Applicant must be studying in or graduate from the level prior to the one he/ she is applying for.

Application Form

  • Application form and schedules of 500 Baht are now available from 1, September 2023 onwards at the administration office.

Application Checklists

  • 1 photographs (1.5")
  • A copy of applicant’s Birth Certificate, House Registration and ID card (if Thai) or passport with visa details for foreign parents
  • A copy of parents’ House Registration and ID card (if Thai) or passport with visa details
  • Report and Transcript from previous school (copied all pages of Student’s Report Book)
  • Confirmation of studying in Kindergarten 3 from previous school (Primary 1 enrolment only)

Admission Procedure

  • Fill out the application form, choose the programme and attach the photo.
  • Choose the programme
  • Submit the completed application form with supporting documents at the Administration Office

Placement Test Schedule

Kindergarten Level

  • Placement Test and interview will be take place by appointment with the school

Primary Level

  • Placement test and interview will be taken place by appointment with the school.
  • Subjects to be tested (P.1): Fundamental Thai, Mathematics and English.
  • Subjects to be tested (P. 2 - 6): Fundamental Thai, Mathematics, English, Social Studies and Science

Secondary

  • Placement test and interview will be taken place by appointment with the school.
  • Subjects to be tested (M.1 - M.3): Mathematics, Science, Thai, Social Studies and English.
  • Subjects to be tested (M.4 - M.6): Mathematics, Science, Thai, Social Studies and English.
  • Interview and Portfolio Presentation as well as Student Report Book are needed.

Placement Test Result

Kindergarten level

  • Placement Test Result will be informed individually directly to parents/guardians.
  • Register and tuition fee pay dates will be announced on the placement test result day.

Primary and Secondary Level

  • Placement Test Result will be informed individually directly to parents/guardians.
  • • Students, who do not pass the Placement Test and would like to retake the test, can inform the office staff at the Administration Office. (No charge for new application form)

Primary There are two progrmmes as follows:

  • Thai & English as a Second Language Promgramme (ESL)
  • English Programme (EP)

Lower Secondary: there are Four programs as follows:

  • Science English Programme (SEP)
  • Science English as a Second Language Programme (SESL)
  • Intensive English Programme (IEP)
  • Technology & English as a Second Language Programme (TESL)

Upper Secondary: There are Six programs as follows:

  • Science Mathematics Plus Programme
  • Science Mathematics Plus Technology Programme
  • Intensive English Programme (IEP)
  • International Digital Innovation Programm (International College of Digital innovation Chiang Mai University)
  • Science Mathematics Program
  • Thai English and Chinese Language Programme

  • Notes :
    • There are 2 terms per academic year.
    • The fee per term includes: Lunch (for Kindergarten and Prathom), milk and snacks for breaks, air-con, insurance, field trips and scouts camp. VCS policy is to make fees as inclusive as possible so parents can see the true cost of programmes offered.
    • There is a new student registration fee of 10,000 baht for Prathom 1 to Mattayom 6. This onetime payment will be added to the bill for the first term’s fees.
    • New students for Kindergarten pay 3,000 baht extra for sleeping kits, 2 sets of pyjamas and a school bag.
    • The cost of books and school uniform is not included and varies according to the grade of entry.
