Team Read Project with British Council

Library of Varee International at Varee Chiangmai School with the support from British Council Chiang Mai has initiated “Team Read” Project during July - September 2011 which has the objectives to promote students to use their time productively in reading English books, to instil a love for reading in students and to enable students to recognise the significance in reading as well as able to express themselves creatively. The project for reading has succeeded with 153 students from Varee Chiangmai School who has read books according to the list that British Council has set for “Team Read” as follow. 

 

Primary School                     67 students

Secondary School                 73 students  

International Programme      13 students

 

Mrs. Varee Patravanich, director of Varee Chiangmai School, and Mrs. Ginny Rowlands, Centre Manager of British Council Chiang Mai, have given us the honour to award students with certificates and medals on Thursday 2nd February 2012.
