Closing and reopening times, student report cards and tuition fee

School has been open for Term 1/2010 since 12 May 2010 and students will be taking final examinations and finishing Term1 of 2010 in the end of September, so we would like to inform you about the final examination schedule.

Kindergarten evaluation
- 20-24 September 2010

Primary (Prathom) 1EP-6EP
- 16-22 September 2010 test for subjects taught by foreign teachers
- 23 September and 1 October 2010/written final exam term 1/2010

Primary (Prathom) 1-6 ESL
- 23-24 September 2010/ written final examination term 1/2010
- 27 September 2010 a holiday for studying and preparing for examination
- 28-29 September 2010 5-subject practical test
- 30 September – 1 October 2010 Practical test integrated with Sports day by P.E. and vocational department

Matthayom 1-6
- 24, 28 and 29 September 2010/written skill test term 1/2010
- 27 September 2010 a holiday for studying and preparing for examination
- 30 September 2010 a holiday for studying and preparing for 3-subject practical test/Matthayom 5 students get the place ready for Sports day at Chiang Mai 700 year stadium
- 1 October 2010 Practical test integrated with Sports day by P.E. and vocational department

Receiving students' report
- Saturday 16 October 2010 (9.00-11.00) for Kindergarten
- Sunday 17 October 2010 for PRATHOM (Primary)

Prathom students number 1-15 can receive from 8.30-10.30
Prathom students number 16 to the end can receive from 10.00-12.00

- Sunday 17 October 2010 for MATTHAYOM (Secondary)

Prathom students number 1-15 can receive from 13.00-14.30
Prathom students number 16 to the end can receive from 14.30-16.00

Paying tuition fee for term 2/2010

You can pay for tuition fee from now to the first day of term 2/2010.

The rate of fee:
THB 19,950 for kindergarten
THB 21,500 for ESL Prathom (Primary)
THB 45,520 for English Program Prathom (Primary)
THB 18,200 for lower Matthayom (Lower secondary)
THB 30,000 for English programme lower Matthayom (Lower secondary)
THB 18,750 for Matthayom (Secondary)
THB 23,750 for English Art Matthayom (English Secondary) Not EP Programme

Parents or guardians can pay by cash or credit card into Account number: 253-4-1-4828-9 Bangkok bank, Branch: Sanpakoi, Saving account, Name: Varee Chiang Mai School. Please bring the transfer slip to school to get a receipt.

We are writing to inform you of these important dates and we would like to encourage you to come to receive your child's report. This will give you an opportunity to discuss your child's progress with subject and form teachers which will help to develop his/her skills and solve any problems there may be.
